Onkar was born in the UK, first generation British born Indian. He studied at Windsor College, Windsor, Berkshire and graduated with a degree in English Literature and Language. Onkar worked as a Compliance Inspector with the Inland Revenue for seven years. Onkar emigrated to the USA in 2000. He owned a large, franchised gas station in Phoenix, then transitioned onto Subway franchisee owner. In 2007, Onkar purchased his first The UPS Store franchise. He is currently the owner of 5 franchised locations. He was hand-picked for the Elite JW Marriott partnership and served on the panel of the Hotel Special Venue Training Program. Onkar completed all courses at The UPS Store University and was a trainer for new franchisees. Currently, Onkar is also part owner of a retail car dealership and exploring real estate investment opportunities. |
