Jim Maloney EVP & Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Maloney brings 40 years of experience in the banking industry. He held the position of CFO for First Community Bank of Homer Glen & Lockport, Allied First Bank and most recently West Valley National Bank. In addition to managing the Treasury and Accounting functions, Mr. Maloney has managed the Operations, Information Technology and Human Resources areas of all the Banks.

Mr. Maloney began his banking career at Joliet Federal Savings in 1980, where he worked as a college intern. In 1989, Mr. Maloney joined BankFinancial Savings Bank as the Assistant Controller and was promoted to Controller two months after joining the Bank. In September 2006, Mr. Maloney was recruited to join a group of investors as the organizing Chief Financial Officer of First Community Bank of Homer Glen and Lockport.
After a merger of First Community Bank, Mr. Maloney joined Allied First Bank as the CFO and worked with the President/CEO to raise capital and lift the consent order the Bank was under. In May of 2018, Mr. Maloney moved to Arizona and accepted the position of CFO for West Valley National Bank, where he worked to increase revenues and assist the Bank in achieving profitability.

Mr. Maloney graduated in 1982 from College of St. Francis (now the University of St. Francis) with a BA in Accounting and subsequently from the University of St. Francis in 2004 with a Master’s in Business Administration.
